Basic Setup Guide for Points

Step 1: Logging Into the Dashboard

  1. Go to the dashboard https://points.bot.

  2. Click on Login in the upper right corner.

  3. Follow the prompts to connect your Discord account.

Step 2: Navigating to your Server

  1. Once logged in, click your profile icon in the top right corner.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Servers.

  3. Choose the server you’d like to setup from the server selection screen.

Step 3: Moderator Setup

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. In the Moderators box, add your server's moderator roles to grant them the ability to manage points and items.

  3. Make sure to save your changes.

You can now manage command settings directly from Discord! Go to Server Settings → Integrations → Points to customize those settings… If you had settings here before, we have deprecated them so please make sure you check discord.

Step 4: Customize Message Points

  1. In the same Settings tab, look for Message Reward.

  2. You can enable it, set a min or max amount to give per message, deny specific channels from getting points, or if you have disabled it… the allowlist will always allow the specified channels to receive Points.

  3. Remember to save your changes.

  1. Scroll to the top of the page and click on the Shop tab.

  2. To create an item, click on the Create Item button on the right side of the page.

  3. Fill out the fields, and finalize your item.

  4. Continue adding items until you are satisfied. You can also add items using the ⁠/create command and filling in the fields.

Step 7: Enjoy!

Congratulations! You have successfully set up the Points Bot. If you wish to further customize it, keep reading; otherwise, you are done with the setup!
